Key Additions: Luis Scola, Danny Granger (injury), Solomon Hill, C.J. Watson, and Chris Copeland

This year the Pacers are a team loaded with expectations. That's what happens when you take the Miami Heat to seven games and look set to derail their quest for back to back championships. The player who seemed to make the biggest strides for the pacers last year was Paul George who will, this year, look to solidify his place among the leading players in the league.
There were, however, some issues which the Pacers needed to address if they wanted to increase their chances at taking down the Heat and making it to the finals. This off season Indiana set out to rebuild their bench which, last season, preformed considerably below that of their rivlas. Getting Dannny Granger back, as well as adding Luis Scola, Solomon Hill, C.J. Watson, and Chris Copeland will give the bench the scoring punch it needed and the starting lineup will get a decent boost from Granger assuming his knees are back where they need to be.
Overall the Pacers look like they will be maintaining the status quo. They will in no way dazzle you on the offensive end but their elite defense will make them a huge headache for any team. Additionally their overall size and rebounding prowess will make them a matchup nightmare for the Heat in the playoffs. It is hard to see them knocking off the champs.
