Well, it is week 6, hopefully you survived last week by taking the top selections the Green Bay Packers or the New Orleans Saints (Saints put quite a scare into people who selected them though).
Our outside the box pick fell to 2-2 on the season. Luckily our top plays have been providing very solid advice are 8-1 on the year, with only the Steelers (who were not even the highest rated play of the week) costing us a perfect top record when they fell at the last second to the Steelers.
Week 6 is probably the toughest week yet to make a survivor pick. The biggest favorites are Seattle and the Broncos and chances are most have you have already used those two teams as their were great opportunites to use both already this season.
I think Seattle will be tested by Dallas but will ultimately win the game and I will make them the top pick of the week if you have the available.
If you don't have Seattle available but could take San Diego or Denver on the road go ahead as they both appear safe bets to win.
For the outside the box pick I was going to use the Cleveland Browns until I realized they have a home game with the Raiders coming up and that will be a much better spot to use an average team. As the season goes along it is important to look ahead and find the best possible spot to use the teams you have remaining to select from.
This week I am going outside the box with the Vikings. The Vikings are coming off an extra long week having played Thursday night last week. They are well rested and have a healthy Teddy Bridgewater back to lead the team. The Lions are not a very good road team in general and have they have only beaten the Vikings once in Minnesota in the last 15 years.
Good luck and hopefully you will survive week 6 and live to see week 7!
