The New York Giants are coming off a pretty lack luster 2014 season as they were nowhere near the playoffs and are in need of a bounce back season unless they want to end up undergoing a complete team makeover.
Preview: On offense this season the Giants are going to be looking to take a huge leap forward as it is widely hoped and almost expected that Eli Manning will make a large step forward here in his second year under offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo. The Giants WR corps looks incredibly solid this season with Odell Beckham looking to have another monster season and hopes that Victor Cruz can stay healthy and regain his previous high caliber of play. The Giants running game is not what it once was but with Rashad Jennings as the starting RB and Vereen coming in on passing down this unit could definitely be a productive one.
Defensively the Giants still have some pretty big question marks with the whole Jason Pierre-Paul injury issue looming over their defensive line as without that outside anchor the line is kind of left in a bad spot. The Giants secondary should be decent this season assuming that it can stay healthy which has always been a huge issue for them as it seems every season they end up on their third string corners by like week ten. Overall I think the Giants defense will be good but not great unless something major changes and I will be closely following the JPP drama to see how it unfolds.
Projected Record: 8-8
