Portland Trail Blazers vs Utah Jazz 12/25/2018
The Portland Trail Blazers go on the road to take on the Utah Jazz in the final game of this Christmas Day NBA slate.
The Jazz and Blazers met in Portland only a few days ago and Portland took it on the chin losing 120-90. The Jazz made 51.6% of their threes and got 18 points from Kyle Korver in a game where all of the Blazers were healthy but clearly wildly ineffective.
The Blazers are 19-14 on the season and while they have won four of their last five overall that one loss was to the Jazz. Portland continues having the same problems year after year with this squad as they have excellent isolation players but their ball movement and offensive scheme in general continue to leave much to be desired.
The Utah Jazz are 16-18 on the season and are probably the second biggest disappointment in the Western Conference behind the Rockets. Defensively the Jazz are elite once again but their offense leaves much to be desired both in isolation play and in overall team scheme. Utah has also been struggling on the boards.
Take the Jazz at home in this one as the Blazers are 5-10 ATS when playing on the road and really seem to struggle anytime they are way from home going 6-9 on the road this season overall.
