Maryland has quietly gone about their business this season standing a respectable 14-4 overall and 3-2 in the Big Ten. The Terps might not have a lot in the way of elite resume building wins, but this group has shown they can compete against quality opposition by and large against an up and down schedule. Maryland was impressive in their last outing getting past Iowa at home by a final of 91-73, but it’s tough to forget the 30 point loss the Terps took in their prior out on the road against Michigan State. Ohio State has already shown positive signs in their first year under a new head coach and the Buckeyes picked up a great win for their program the other day toppling Michigan State at home by a final of 80-64. Ohio State has been utilizing their home court well thus far in the Big Ten as the Buckeyes now stand a solid 13-4 overall and 4-0 in conference. The Buckeyes have strengths on both ends ranking 74th in the nation in scoring and 87th in total defense. As long as Ohio State doesn’t get complacent coming off the Michigan State win, we expect the Buckeyes to continue to play off their home crowd as they go on to win and cover this moderate spread.
