Seton Hall showed their veteran moxie the other day upsetting Butler on the road with a tremendous second half performance taking down the Bulldogs by a final of 90-87. Seton Hall has shown strengths on both sides of the ball this year, especially with their offensive consistency, ranking 50th in the nation in scoring and 111th in total defense. Seton Hall has opened conference play 3-0 with wins coming against Creighton, Butler, and Saint John’s. Marquette has taken a step in the right direction this year opening better than many expected standing 11-5 overall and 2-2 against a tough conference slate. The Golden Eagles are an offensive force, but not the same defense squad as the Pirates, ranking 30th in the nation in scoring compared to 280th in total defense. It’s never easy going back to back on the road in the Big East, but we like Seton Hall to build of the momentum of their Butler victory as they go on to cover the spread.
