In a matchup of two teams that certainly did not live up to their early season expectations this season the Philadelphia Eagles go on the road to take on the Cincinnati Bengals, two teams we will not be seeing in the postseason.
The Bengals come into this game very banged up as they are probably without AJ Green for the remainder of the season and while their RB corps is starting to get a little healthier I am not expecting miracles from that area either. The Bengals defense has been horrible this season and that is honestly where a lot of the blame has to go for the struggles of this team and for the approaching dismissal of Marvin Lewis.
The Eagles have actually met with a reasonable amount of success given that they are starting a rookie QB and realistically were supposed to be in a rebuilding season. Philadelphia seems like they have actually found their franchise QB in Carson Wentz and while they are 5-6 on the playoffs and unlikely to make the playoffs they have not actually been eliminated.
Take the Eagles in this one as they are the better team right now by a narrow margin and given that they are healthier and have something to play for I see them managing to come away with the win.
