Well hopefully you went with the two favored picks last weekend in the Saints and Patriots, as the outside the box pick Jets came up short on Monday night thanks to some poor QB play and questionable officiating.
This week selections are limited as their are three fewer games due to the first round of NFL bye weeks for the 2014 season.
This week the safest play appears to be Chargers, who should be available for selection by almost all survivor players as their first three games were not great spots to take them. This week may be the most ideal spot of the year to use the Chargers, they get a Jacksonville team who is traveling across the country and starting a rookie QB for the first time. Look for the Chargers to take care of business.
Another heavy favorite is the Colts, but I am going to pass on them. They have not shown much except against the lowly Jags and while the Titans have been struggling this is a division game that could be a lot closer than many expect.
If you are looking for another big favorite to take consider the Steelers. They are at home against a Tampa team with a lot of question marks. They are coming off a big win on the road last Sunday night and should carry that momentum over to this week against an outmatched Tampa team.
The outside the box selection this week is another home favorite the San Francisco 49ers. Yes there will be much better spots to use the 49ers then this week against the Eagles, but the Eagles are in a terrible spot. They have a makeshift offensive line, the 49ers have a strong pass rush and the Eagles are off an emotional division win and now go to west coast, a very tough spot to be in.
Look for the 49ers to get their first win in their new stadium.
Again, the suggested pick is the Colts, if you are going to go outside the box and hope for a huge upset look at the 49ers! Whatever you decide hopefully you will survive this weekend and check back for more survivor insights next week.
