The 2015 NFL Season fires up in just a few days and it is now crunch time for season long NFL Fantasy owners as they have their final drafts before the season begins.
Here are some key injuries of note:
Jordy Nelson WR of the Packers should be completely off your radar. He is out for the year with a torn ACL. If you have an IR Spot on your team in a keeper league, you could consider him very late in the draft if you want to stash him on your IR Spot for the entire season in hopes of keeping him at a great value for the 2016 season.
Kelvin Benjamin WR of the Carolina Panthers is in a similar situation to Nelson. He will be out of the year with a torn ACL so in leagues where you redraft each season there is no value in selecting him. However, if you want stash him on your bench with a very late pick or place him in an IR Spot in keeper leagues there could be value to selecting him very late.
LeSean McCoy RB of the Buffalo Bills is dealing with a hamstring injury and it is uncertain if he will be ready for week 1, but even if he is not don't expect him to out much beyond that. He is safe to draft and you should get good production out him this year, especially with Fred Jackson now out of the picture.
Arian Foster RB of the Houston Texans is dealing with a groin injury. Initially it was feared he may miss half the season, but now it is looking like he will miss between 2 and 4 games total. Depending on how far he drops in your draft, he could end up being a great value pick that will be a solid contributor all season long. When he is healthy, he is clearly the main option in the Houston backfield.
